Bringing Hope & Healing to Families

Our Story

STEPS was born out of the love and dedication of a mother with a child just like yours. In her search for newer techniques and therapies for her son Abdullah, Fawzia discovered innovative methods that when combined with intensive therapy, changed her son’s life. These life-changing methods however were only available overseas and Fawzia, realizing that not all people have access to international rehabilitation, knew then that she had to bring these techniques to Bahrain.

In 2007, she opened STEPS. The Center initially focused on Intensive Rehabilitation but has since evolved to offer a full suite of therapeutic offerings. These include Early Intervention, Pediatric Physical Therapy, Pediatric Occupational Therapy, Intensive Physical and Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Academic Assessments, Speech & Language Therapy, Reading Intervention, and creative therapies such as Art and Music Therapy. Today, STEPS provide a complete wellness solution that is dedicated to the holistic healing of you and your family.

We are an NHRA approved center that provides full psychological and diagnostic educational assessments and complete physiotherapy, speech & Language, reading acquisition and occupational therapy evaluations.

Monitoring

Our team work closely together with parents, caregivers, pediatricians and schools to monitor progress and provide the support they need to achieve the best results in the shortest period of time.
